The Saxophonist

This was the second portrait I drew in the portrait-drawing class. I realized at the end of the first session that I had started my drawing on the wrong side of the paper -- as a result, the drawing appears more "pixelated" in the shaded regions such as the hair and the beard. The saxophone was added during the last session --  I wanted to make it clear that it was a musical instrument, but did not want to make it too detailed as that would detract from the portrait itself.
