For a project in Analysis, my partner and I analyzed the board game RISK using Markov Chains. It was in middle school that I learned about Markov Chains, and their conceptual connection to fictional topics such as Hari Seldon's Pyschohistory in the Foundation Trilogy. We worked on the paper more during the summer, and submitted to Mathematics Magazine.
